4 large baking potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/4" thick
1 large onion, sliced
1 tbsp bacon grease
Salt and Pepper

Directions:
Directions:
In a large frying pan over med heat, add bacon grease and layer potatoes in pan. Top with onions. Slightly brown potatoes and turn, browning as many of the potatoes as you can. Do not let the onions stay on the bottom of the pan. Once potatoes are browned, reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for 30-45 minutes, until potatoes are tender. Turn occasionally to prevent scorching.
