1 fryer or pieces that you select 1 small onion - chopped 3 dried chili peppers 2 cups milk 1 can biscuits
Brown chicken and onion in a small amount of shortening in skillet. Add peppers and enough water to steam. Cook until tender. Add milk (do not scald). Place biscuit or your own favorite dumplings on top of chicken. Cook uncovered for 10 minutes, then cover and cook for another ten minutes. Thicken gravy with a little flour if necessary.
