2 (6oz) Uncle Ben's Wild Rice (original)
1 large onion, diced
1 c. butter
1/2 c. flour
4 oz jar sliced mushrooms
1 large chicken, cooked, deboned and diced
4 c. reserved chicken broth
1 pint half & half
1 c. slivered almonds
1 t. parsley
1/2 t. pepper
1 t. salt

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare rice according to pkg directions. Saute' onions in butter till tender. Remove from heat, stir in flour till mixed. Return to heat. Add chicken broth, half & half and stir until thickened. Place rice in large 2.5 quart casserole. Add broth mixture and remaining ingredients. Mix and cover.
Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes, or until bubbly.
