3 large onions
Salt & Pepper
Dash of nutmeg
2 Tbsp. Crisco
4 eggs
day old bread

Directions:
Directions:
Peel onions, slice thin. Melt crisco, put sliced onions, salt and pepper in skillet and fry until tender. Remove skillet and add 5 or 6 slices of bread that have been broken into pieces. Break eggs on top of bread in 4 places. Add a dash of nutmeg. Return skillet to heat stirring bread, eggs and onions until mixture is coated. Keep mixing so eggs cook holding onions and bread together.
