2 cups brown sugar, packed
1 cup shortening
2 eggs, beaten
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup cornflakes
2 cups oatmeal
1-1/2 cups Spanish salted peanuts, chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening. Add beaten eggs, then flour, soda and baking powder. Mix well. Add oatmeal, cornflakes and nuts. Drop from spoon. Bake 10 minutes at 350.
