1 cup sugar
1 cup shortening
1 egg
2-3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon cream tartar
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, shortening and egg. Add dry ingredients and mix well. Roll out and cut. Bake 375 for 7-1/2 minutes.
