1/4 cup water
3/4 cup sugar
1/4 cup corn syrup
Grated lemon rind
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
4 Tbsp. red cinnamon candies
9 medium apples (Rome Beauties)-washed, cored & peeled

Directions:
Directions:
Place all ingredients in the order named into the skillet.
Place apples stem end down, cover cook at 225F until syrup indicates that it is going to start oozing out of the pan about 20 minutes
Turn apples stem end up, cover.
Turn control dial to simmer & cook apples until tender (15 to 20 minutes).
