"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain

Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 cup pecans
1 yellow cake mix
1 small vanilla pudding mix
4 eggs
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 cup cooking oil
1/2 cup rum

GLAZE:
1/4 pound butter (a stick)
1/4 cup water
1 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup rum

Directions:
Directions:
Grease and flour bundt cake pan. Add pecans to bottom of pan. In a big bowl mix together cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, cold water, cooking oil and rum. Pour batter in pan on top of pecans and bake at 325 for about an hour. When the cake is almost done it's time to make your glaze. In a small pan mix butter, water and sugar. Boil this for 5 minutes then remove from heat and stir in rum. As soon as the cake is out of the oven, ladle the glaze onto the cake making sure it goes down the insides of the pan. Let it set for about a half hour and then remove cake from pan (it helps to loosen the cake around the edges with a knife before removal).

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
I used only 1/4 cup rum in the glaze. I substitute margarine for the butter.
