Directions:
It's an all nighter, but its good and fresh for morning....put loaves of bread out to thaw on greased cookie sheet about 10:00 and cover with them with a towel. Get back up about 3:00 and punch down dough on floured cutting board into a rectangle longways.....spread melted butter on top of the thawed bread. Cover butter with mixed cinnamon and reg. sugar heavily and roll. Cut each cinnamon roll about 1/2 " and put on clean cookie sheet to raise. Cover in warm place for about 1 1/2 to 2 hrs or until double in its size. Bake in preheated over about 375-400 degrees for about 20- 30 mins. or until brown. Remove from oven and melt more butter and pour over on warm rolls.
Icing
Make icing ahead.......Powdered sugar, several cups, per 1/2 cup butter softened, then add 1/4 cup milk and beat until smooth...add 1 tsp. almond extract.....taste icing.....add according to your taste.... Ice rolls while still warm. Almond extract is the secret ingredient!
