3 cups sugar
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 teaspoon soda
1-1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon cloves
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 cup salad oil
3-1/3 cups flour
1 cup cold water
4 eggs
2 cups pumpkin

Directions:
Directions:
Put all ingredients in a bowl. Mix and beat well. Pour into 2 loaf pans. Bake at 325 for 1-1/2 hours. Cool in pan about 10 minutes then turn out on cooling rack.

Hint: May have to bake a little longer. Toothpick should come out clean. You may leave out some pumpkin and add dates and nuts.
