2 pkg. yeast
2 eggs
1/2 c. shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 c. warm water
6-7 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve the yeast in 1/2 cup warm water, sprinkle the sugar over the yeast mixture. Beat the eggs and shortening together. Add the salt, yeast and the remaining water. Stir in 6 cups of the flour. Knead the dough on a floured board until workable, but not stiff. Place in a greased bowl and cover. Let rise till double, punch down and roll out about 1/2 inch thick. Cut the dough into triangle shapes and let set for about 5 minutes. Fry at 375 in 2 to 3 inches of hot oil. Lightly brown on each side. Serve hot with a mixture of honey and butter.
