12 medium or large cabbage leaves
Salted water
2 pounds lean ground beef
1 cup hot prepared white rice
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup finely chopped onion
1 cup milk
1/2 cup Open Pit Barbecue Sauce
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup Open Pit Barbecue Sauce
1 cup water

Directions:
Directions:
Boil cabbage leaves in salted water for about 3 minutes; drain. Combine beef, rice eggs, salt, onion, milk and 1/2 barbecue sauce; mix well. Place 1/2 cup meat mixture in center of each cabbage leaf; fold over sides and ends of leaves, secure with wooden picks. Saute in butter about 5 minutes or until golden on both sides. Add 1/2 cup barbecue sauce and the water. Cook, covered, 40 minutes, basting twice. Then cook uncovered 5 minutes longer.
