1 box plain yellow cake mix
1 c. butter or margarine (divided)
4 eggs (1 plus 3)

1 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. milk
1 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 (30 oz.) can pumpkin

Directions:
Reserve 1 cup of the dry cake mix. Set aside.


Melt 1/2 cup butter and mix with the remaining cake mix and 1 beaten egg. Press in a 9 x 13 inch greased dish.

Mix 1 cup of brown sugar, milk, cinnamon, three beaten eggs, and pumpkin. Pour over the cake mix layer.

Combine the reserved cup of cake mix, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup softened butter. Crumble over pumpkin layer. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.

Serve warm or chill in refrigerator. Cut in squares and serve with whipped topping.
