2 pkg yeast
1/4 cup warm water
1 1/2 cup lukewarm milk
1 tsp salt
1 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cinnamon
2 eggs
1/3 cup crisco
4 1/2 cups flour
1/4 cup oleo

In a large bowl dissolve yeast in water. Add milk, sugar, salt, cinnamon, eggs, oil and 2 cups flour. Mix until smooth. Let rise until double. Work dough down. Roll 1/2 inch thick and cut with doughnut cutter. Place on cookie sheet and let rise until double in size. Brush with melted oleo. brush again after baking. Bake for 8-10 minutes in 425 oven. Place in a bag of cinnamon sugar or powdered sugar and shake gently. Or use one of these icings.
1/2 tsp sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
4 oz chocolate
1/3 cup oleo
2 cups confectioners sugar
4-6 T hot water
