3 c. sugar
1 c. butter, softened
1/4 c. shortening
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
1 tsp. each vanilla, lemon, rum, and almond extracts
1 tsp. each coconut, pineapple, and butter flavoring
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. each of above flavorings

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugar, butter, and shortening until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk and flavorings to sugar mixture. Pour into greased and floured Bundt or tube pan. Bake at 325 for 60 minutes. Pour glaze (1 c. sugar, water, and flavorings, heated over low heat until sugar melts) over cake while cake is cooling. Wait until cake has completely cooled before removing from pan.

You may use a yellow cake mix and add flavorings if desired, but reduce the amount of water called for by 7 tsp.
