In a 9X13 pan mix together well:
3 C. Flour
2 C. Sugar
2 t. Baking Soda
1/3 C. Cocoa
1 t. Salt

Dig 3 Holes in the cake, and pour into each hole:
C. Oil
1 t. Vanilla
2 t. Vinegar

Pour 2 C. cold water over the top and mix with a fork. Do not beat. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-40 minutes.

Frosting:
1 C. Sugar
1/3 C. Milk
C. Shortening
1 Square of Chocolate
Dash of Salt

Mix above ingredients together and boil for 1-2 minutes. Remove from heat and add 1 t. vanilla. Cool for a few minutes, then beat before frosting cake.
