1 1/2 cups brown sugar (packed)
1/2 cup heavy cream
3/4 stick of butter

Boil on medium heat for 2 minutes. Place in larger bowl to cool, add 1 tsp. vanilla to cooked mixture after removing from stove After mixture cools, about 10 minutes, add 2 to 2 1/4 cups of powdered sugar, stirring as you mix.

This can be also made as chocolate icing by replacing brown sugar with regular white sugar and 4 to 5 Tbsp. of cocoa.
