3/4 cup butter or margarine
2 cup flour
2 cups sugar
2 1/2 tsp baking powder
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup milk
2 medium zucchini, shredded
3/4 cup walnuts or pecans, finely chopped (optional)
1/2 cup cocoa

Chocolate glaze:
1 cup sugar
1/3 cup milk
5 tbs butter melted
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions:

Cake:
Heat oven to 350F. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Mix in vanilla and zucchini. Combine flour with baking powder and baking soda and add with milk to zucchini mixture. Stir in nuts. Bake in 10 inch tube pan or bundt pan for one hour. Cool in pan 15 minutes. Invert onto wire rack and cool. Pour chocolate glaze over it when cool.

Chocolate glaze:
Combine sugar, butter and milk in a sauce pan. Heat until boiling. Boil one minute, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Stir until smooth. Pour over cooled cake
