Congo Bars

2 c flour
2 tsp baking powder
tsp salt
Mix together

2/3 cup margarine
1 lb pkg brown granulated sugar
3 eggs
1 cup walnuts
1 6 oz pkg chocolate bits
2 tsp vanilla


Melt margarine and add sugar and mix well
Add eggs one at a time beating well and stir in dry ingredients
Vanilla, choc. Bits and nuts. 2 pans 8 x8 or 9x9 at 350 for 25-30 min.
Cool and cut
