2 sticks butter
1 lb. light brown sugar
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts or pecans

Mix together the following:
1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt

Melt butter in large saucepan over low heat. Add brown sugar and stir over low heat until melted. Remove from heat.

Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add flour mixture and nuts; mix well.

Pour into well greased 9x13 pan.

Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Cut while still warm.
