1 16-ounce package Quaker Oats squares cereal
2 cups pecan pieces
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 cup margarine
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 250.

Combine cereal and pecan pieces in a 9x13-inch pan and set aside. Combine corn syrup and sugar and margarine in a 2 cup microwavable bowl. Microwave on high for 1-1/2 minutes. Stir. Microwave till boiling. Stir in vanilla and baking soda. Pour over cereal and pecan pieces. Cover and bake for 1 hour. Stirring every 20 minutes.

Spread on baking sheet to cool. Break into pieces and serve.
