1 - 14 oz. bag caramels
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 cups flour
2 cups quick cooking oatmeal
1 1/2 cup brown sugar
1 cup melted butter
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 cup chopped pecans
1 - 6 oz. bag chocolate chips

Directions:

Melt caramels in evaporated milk. Cool slightly. Combine remaining ingredients except pecans and chocolate chips. Press 3/4 of the mixture into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Remove and spread caramel mixture on top. Sprinkle with pecans and chocolate chips. Top with remaining crumb mixture. Bake 15 - 20 minutes, or until brown. Chill 2 hours before cutting.
