2 sticks butter - salted (not margarine) 2/3 cup light brown sugar 2 cups of self-rising flour 3/4 cup black walnuts
Cream butter and sugar - add flour a little at a time - stir in walnuts. Spread into 9x13"pan (ungreased). Bake at 350º for 28-30 minutes until golden brown. Let cool for 15 minutes before cutting into bars.
This is a Gabbert Family Favorite at all our dinners! Great with milk or coffee....
