2 pounds hamburger
1 large onion - diced
7 cups water
celery cut into small pieces
carrots cut into small pieces
10 potatoes - peeled and diced
1 quart tomato juice or V8

Directions:
Directions:
Brown hamburger, add onion and water to cover. Reduce heat to low and simmer while cleaning other veggies. Add veggies, simmer about 4 hours stirring occasionally, add water if mixture gets to thick, add tomato juice and cook 20 minutes longer.
