1 1/2 cup flour 2 t baking powder 1/2 cup buttermilk 1/2 t salt 3 T shortening
Mix dry inderdients. Cut in shortening. Add buttermilk. Kneed but DO NOT OVERWORK! Roll to 1inch high. Cut with biscuit cutter. Brush tops with butter. Let rise 20 minutes. Cook on 350º till golden brown.
