1 1/3 cup sifted flour 1 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking powder 1 egg 1/2 cup milk
Sift flour with baking powder and salt. Beat egg; add milk. Combine mixtures. Drop dumpling batter from spoon over the meat. Cook uncovered for 5 minutes. Cover; steam for 5 minutes. Remove dumplings. Stir 3 T. of flour blended with 1/3 cup water into broth. Cook until thick. Serves 6.
