12 slices cinnamon raisin bread, toasted and cubed
1/2 stick butter, melted
2 medium ripe bananas, mashed
1 tsp. cinnamon
3 eggs
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. milk
1/2 package caramels (approx 25), unwrapped
1/3 c. sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Layer half of bread cubes in a 9X9" baking dish and top with half the caramels. In mixing bowl, beat eggs until thick and lemon colored. Add milk, sugar, butter, bananas, cinnamon and nutmeg; mix well. Pour mixture evenly over bread and caramels. Bake for 30 minutes. Reduce heat to 300 and bake for an additional 15- 20 minutes or until center is set.
