1/4 c butter 2/3 c brown sugar firmly packed Dash of salt 3/4 c dark corn syrup 3 eggs well beaten 1 cup pecans halved or chopped 1 tsp vanilla
Cream together butter, brown sugar salt; stir in remaining ingredients. Line an 8" pie plate with pastry and pour in mixture. Bake at 450º 10 minutes. Then reduce heat to 350º and bake 35 minutes longer.
