6 large tart apples,
1 cup sugar,
2 Tbsp. flour,
1 tsp. cinnamon,
1/8 tsp. salt,
1 (9 inch) pie shell

Topping:
1/2 c. flour,
1/4 c. sugar,
pinch of salt,
1/4 c. melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Peel, core and thinly slice 6 apples. Toss then with sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt mixture and arrange them, overlapping in pan lined with your favorite pie crust.
Mix topping recipe above and put over apples. Bake in a hot oven, 400 degrees for 40 minutes or until top is golden brown.
