3 cups sugar,
3 cups white corn syrup,
1 quart whipping cream,
1 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Put sugar, corn syrup and one pint of cream in pan, place on stove and stir until dissolved and cook until soft boil stage, (220 degrees) , then add 1 cup of the remaining cream, stir and cook to 220 degrees or soft boil stage, then finally add remaining cream and cook to medium firm ball, (242 degrees). Quickly add 1 tsp. vanilla and pour into a greased large cookie sheet or 2 well greased 9X9 pans. When cool use scissors to cut in strips, then into pieces. Wrap in wax paper.
The last boiling takes a long time, so watch carefully. If too soft you can put back on the stove and cook a little longer.
