6 c. thin sliced Cucumbers
1 lb. Onions, peeled and sliced
1 Green Pepper, sliced thin
1/4 c. Salt
2 c. Brown Sugar
1 T. Mustard Seed
1/2 tsp. Turmeric (optional)
1/2 tsp. Celery Seed
2 1/4 tsp. Ground Cloves
2 c. Cider Vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 4 ingredients together and cover and let stand 3 hours. Bring remaining ingredients together and boil 5 minutes. Drain vegetable in a colander, rinsing well with cold water. Add to hot syrup and heat slowly to just below boiling point, stirring occasionally. Pack in jars and seal.
