"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste
This recipe for Crab Won Tons, by Peggy Haynie, is from The Haynie Family Cookbook,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
Filling: 1 can crab meat 1 8oz pkg cream cheese softened 2 TBS minced green onions 1/2 tsp MSG
Mix filling ingredients together. Assembly line: Wet two edges of a skin. Drop one tsp full in middle of skin and fold to make triangle; seal edges well. Fry in hot oil until golden. Serve immediately or keep warm.
These are great with that Mae Ploy Sauce you got from Curtis for Christmas that you don't know what to do with.
