2 lbs. of hamburger, browned and drained
1 lb. sausage, browned and drained
1 can corn
1 can lima beans
3 carrots, chopped
one onion, chopped
1 can tomatoes
1 cup ketchup
chili powder, salt, and pepper to taste
Worcestershire sauce, BBQ sauce, tomatoe juice to finish and to taste.

Brown hamburger and then add the remaining ingredients, including a a few tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce, BBQ, and tomato juice.

Helen makes this stew every winter and it is always a hit. I don't know where she got the recipe but I remember her saying that it started as a mixture of just what was left in the refrigerator.
