1 cup shortening
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup peanut butter
3 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Thoroughly cream shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla. Stir in peanut butter. Stir in dry ingredients/ Drop by rounded teaspoonful on ungreased cookie sheet. Press with back of fork to make criss crosses.

Bake in 350 oven for 10 minutes.
