2 cups boiling water
5 teasspoon. soda
2 cups sugar
4 beaten eggs
5 cups flour
4 cups all bran cereal
2 1/2 cups chopped dates and/or raisins
1 teaspoon. salt
1 quart buttermilk

Mix water and soda. Let cool. Cream next 3 ingredients mix in remaining ingredients. Bake in greased muffin tins. Will keep in refrigerator up to 6 weeks.
