2 1/4 c. plain flour
1 t. baking soda
1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. packed brown sugar
1/4 c. white sugar
3.4 oz. pkg. vanilla instant pudding mix
2 eggs
1 t. vanilla extract
2 c. semisweet chocolate chips
1 c. chopped walnuts (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Sift flour and baking soda; set aside.
In a mixing bowl cream together butter, brown sugar and white sugar. Beat in the instant pudding mix. Stir in eggs and vanilla. Blend in the flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
Drop cookies by rounded spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Edges should be golden brown.
