6 pork chops
Salt
Pepper
2 T. shortening
1 c. uncooked rice
4 c. beef bouillon
1/2 c. onion
1/2 c. green pepper
1/4 t. thyme

Directions:
Directions:
Season pork chops with salt and pepper to taste and brown in shortening. Remove pork chops and place them in a 9 x 13 baking dish.
Add rice to the grease the pork chops were browned in. Brown the rice; stirring often. Spoon off excess grease and add beef bouillon, onion, green pepper and thyme stirring well then adding to pork chops in baking dish. Cover and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hours. Check occasionally to see if more water should be added.
