1 1/2 c milk
1 c chopped raisins
1 tsp salt
1 tsp cream of tarter
1/2 tsp soda
3 1/2 c flour (or bread, divided)
1 c chopped suet
1 c molasses
1 c currants
Citron, cinnamon and nutmeg
(Double this recipe)

Sauce
1/2 c granulated sugar or Karo Syrup
1/2 c light brown sugar
1 egg
A bit of lemon juice
2 tbsp Brandy
3/4 c Sherry (Cream Sherry Gallo)
1/4 tsp nutmeg
(Double recipe)

Directions:
Directions:
Steam 3 1/2 - 4 hours.

Sauce
Mix all ingredients together in a double boiler. Stir constantly and bring to a boil.
