Pineapple slices or crushed pineapple
1 c sugar
5 Tbl butter
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c milk
2 eggs
1 c sifted flour
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Drain pineapples. Melt 4 Tbl butter in 9" skillet. Remove from heat and cover bottom of pan with brown sugar. Arrange pineapple on sugar. Beat eggs very lightly. Add salt, sugar, and vanilla while continuing to beat. Heat milk and 1 Tbl butter to boiling point. Beat into egg mixture. Sift flour with baking powder. Add to milk mixture, beating quickly but thoroughly. Pour over pineapples. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes. Turn out while warm.
