1 c sugar
1 c molasses
3/4 c hot water
1 c crisco or lard
1 tsp cinnamon
4 tsp soda
2 cream of tartar
1 tsp salt
5 c of flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine all ingredients, make a roll, wrap in wax paper and put in refrigerator overnight. Preheat oven to 375. Slice roll into cookies and bank 10 - 12 minutes until edges brown.
