1/2 c. butter
2 1/2 c. salted peanuts
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chocolate chips
2 egg whites
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine butter, nuts, and salt in a pan. Toast in oven for 20 minutes; stir once. Melt chocolate chips in a double boiler.

Beat egg whites and vanilla until foamy. Add sugar gradually, beating until stiff. Fold in flour, then nut mixture and chocolate. Use as few strokes as possible. Spread mixture into a pan.

Bake for 30 - 35 minutes at 325. Loosen edges and turn out onto a cookie sheet. Cool. Break into pieces.
