4 C sugar
4 eggs
3 C honey
1 tbsp salt
1 tbsp anise seed (or less)
1 tbsp ginger
1 tbsp cinnamon
9 tbsp vinegar
1 C hot water with 3 tbsp baking soda
12-15 C flour, enough to handle

Directions:

Roll and cut into diamonds.
Bake at 350 for 9 minutes.
Cookies will be hard at this time. Put in sealed container with apple or orange wedges for about a month.
