1 pkg yellow cake mix (set aside 1 cup),
8 tbls butter,
1 egg


Filling:
1 -29 oz can pumpkin,
1 can evaporated milk,
1-1/2 c sugar,
4 eggs,
1 tsp salt,
1 tsp ginger,
2 tsp cinnamon,
1/4 tsp cloves,
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Grease 9 x 13 pan and preheat oven to 350. Reserve a cup of pkg of yellow cake mix. To rest of cake mix add 1 square melted butter and 1 egg. Mix and press into pan.
Filling: Mix 1- 29 oz. can pumpkin, 1-1/2 c canned milk (1 can), 1-1/2 c sugar, and 4 eggs. Beat slightly and add: 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp ginger, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1/4 tsp cloves, and 1 tsp vanilla. Pour over cake mix in pan. Then add topping mix that is mixed til crumbly: 1 c reserved cake mix, 1/4 c sugar, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1/4 c soft butter. Sprinkle over filling.
Bake at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Top with whipped cream.
