"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
1 1/2 pounds fresh or frozen strawberries 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt 1 pint cream 1/2 tsp vanilla
Strawberry Soup? Sounds a bit strange, doesn't it? It's a fantastic dessert for kids and adults alike and during summer a great refreshing "goodie". The best about this easy recipe is, it'll work with fresh and frozen strawberries. No need to wait til strawberry season starts again. Blend strawberries in blender until smooth. Slowly add vanilla yogurt and keep blending. Pour strawberry mixture into large bowl. Add cream and vanilla and stir until blended. Chill in fridge for at least 1 hour. Before serving garnish with a fresh strawberry or a mint leave. Serve in soup bowls. Enjoy! Serves: 3 See lowfat Strawberry Soup Too!
