2 c. milk
1 tsp. salt
1 c. flour
4 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Bring milk and salt to boil in a medium size heavy skillet. Sift flour into milk, stirring rapidly. Try to avoid as many lumps as possible. Cook and stir at medium heat until mixture leaves the sides of the pan and forms a ball. Remove from heat. Place in a bowl and cover tightly. Allow to cool. When cool, beat in eggs one at a time with a fork. Make sure the batter is smooth before the addition of the next egg. Bring soup to slow boil. Drop batter in by teaspoonful. Cover kettle and allow dumplings to simmer for 10 minutes. Dumplings should be light and fluffy. Serve immediately.
