2 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 c. butter
2 eggs
3/4 c. flour
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
Filling:
8 oz. cream cheese
1/3 c. sugar
1 egg
1/4 tsp. vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter and chocolate squares. Add eggs, sugar and mix. Sift together flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix well. Pour 1/2 of chocolate batter into 8 inch square pan. Combine cream cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla and spread over chocolate in pan. Add remaining chocolate batter. Bake @ 350 45 minutes. Cool. Frost.
Note: Recipe may be doubled and put in 9 x 13 pan.
