1 Egg Beaten
2 c. Sifted Flour
2 tsp. Soda
1 tsp. Cinnamon
3/4 c. Shorting
1/4 c. Molasses
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 tsp. Cloves
1 tsp. Ginger

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening, add egg and molasses. Sift together dry ingredients, add to sugar mixture. Chill dough, roll small pieces of dough in hand and flatten. Dip in sugar. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.
