1 c raisins
1/2 c water
3;4 c shortening
1 c sugar
1/2 t cinnamon
1/2 t allspice
1/2 t cloves
1/2 t nutmeg
2 eggs
1 t soda
1 c flour
3 cups uncooked oats
1/2 c chopped nuts

Bring raisins, spices and water to boil. Cool. Cream sugar and shortening together. Add rest of ingredients Drop by spoonful on cookie sheet
Bake 375 until set and slightly brown
