2 cans red pie cherries (save juice from one can, drain the other) 1 c sugar 1 Tbsp butter 1 tsp cinnamon 3 Tbsp cornstarch
Mix sugar, cornstarch and cinnamon together in a bowl and pour over juice from one can of cherries. Stir until thoroughly dissolved. Place cherries in an unbaked pie shell. Pour juice combination over cherries. Add butter and cover with pastry. Makes 1 large deep pie.
