1 lb sausage
2 slices bread, cut into 1/2" squares
1/2-3/4 cup diced green & red peppers (depending on your taste)
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
6 eggs
2 cups milk
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp dry mustard
Pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Scramble sausage in a skillet until it is browned. Drain off any grease. Spread bread cubes in the bottom of a greased 11 X 7 dish. Top bread with sausage, peppers, and cheese. Whisk eggs and next 4 ingredients until well-blended. Pour mixture over cheese. Bake 30-45 minutes or until set at 350.

Steve and I like this because it has flavor. We also add onion to the recipe. It's nice with sliced tomatoes or muffins for dinner..not just a breakfast food anymore!
